There was a slight delay but dat was the only problem. It was a hot and tiring day but Villa Vipers showed an outstanding performance although they conceded some needless goals.

It was an effortless performance from the start but their speedy striker posed problems to the defence although he is the ONLY real threat in the match. The defence crumbled after 20 mins and before half-time, 3 goals were conceded due to the mistakes of both defenders and midfielders. Shariff constantly had problems keeping up because while supporting his team mates upfront, counter-attacks often left him fatigue for a quick recovery back to his post. But in the second half, the defence proved their mettel and the reason why only 3 defenders are needed in the backline. Shariff managed to score just before the full time whistle giving him his first goal of the season.

The midfielder too showed spectacular skill with their laser-designated like passes giving the strikers a shower of opportunities. Kamal, Zakiy and Khairul Akit showed great determination in winning often encouraging for a 1-2 play. Hafiz delivered great crosses and shear skilful dribbling, proving to his team mates why he is number 7 and admires Cristiano Ronaldo. It was a fair performance from Ashly and it was his pass that led to Hafiz scoring.

Nas often came to the midfielders to ask for the ball and gave long passes to help his team mates score. He ran around the pitch showing no signs of tiredness. His team mates ended up fed up with his style of play as he dribbled too much as if he was the only one playing. His solo efforts were great but we would rather see a more passing type of play. Taufiq managed to steal 4 goals leaving used-to-be-top-striker, Hisham, way behind him for the total number of scores. Sadly, Hisham did not attend today's match.

Others who did not attend were also not forgotten. Hasan, Musa, Salman, Faris and the others had other plans but we will soon be needing their callibur if we want to win against bigger teams.

And the final score..

14-3
