Here we meet again with team acik.Still feeling the loss they gave us last time.We never really had possesion for the most game but there were some passes that are good.Like Shariff's and Firdaus.It was frustrating as we also need to run for the ball.It was in extra time in first half when we had the corner.All of us went up to find the goal,even our keeper Petr Hacechsan.The swinging corner from firdaus came.Everyone just looked as the ball whizzed past them.But the most unexpected player rise for the challenge and head the ball into the empty net.It was PETR HACECHSAN. It was ecstacy.We chased After him like giler babi.Feeling high and confident, we end the first half.
There was not really much action from us in the 2nd half as we have only 10 men and no subs.Hafis(team acik) was a menance as he kept on attacking and shoot on goals but our taufiq was up to the challenge and prevented them from scoring a couple of times.We are quite happy with our performance as we played like there was 12 men.

Villa Vipers FC vs Rusty Star FC

It was a match that started off late but ended in deep satisfaction. The substitutes came in late after 10 minutes of the game.
Within minutes, Taufiq was given a superb chance but could not convert it. He tried to lob the keeper and got it but was unable to score from the technique. Ashly was given several opportunities to support Taufiq but was unsuccessful at times. During a counter-attack, Ashly's pass couldn't find Firdaus althought Taufiq was available nearby. Shortly after, Taufiq scored 2 with a screaming shot that got goal written all over it. Ashly substituted with Hisham and Firdaus was dropped to right wing to put Hisham to his striking position.
Khai Mon substituted with Khidir, Shariff with Salman and Zakiy with Musa shortly. Taufiq scored 1 more which gave total domination in his team and also his hat-trick. But it did not last. Strikes from the opponent gave way to goals and in the end of the first-half, it was 3-2. The team enforced the importance of Faris to be the dm but he did not attend due to overseas business.
Khai Mon did not play anymore in the second half due to health problems but that did not pose much of a problem. This time, Musa played cm and Zakiy was pushed to striker. The magnificent partnership between Taufiq and Zakiy allowed 3 goals, 1 from Taufiq and 2 from Zakiy to be scored at the starting minutes. An assist from Ashly found Hisham and unmistakably, he netted it with simplicity. The opponent scored another 2 reckless goal leading to 7-4.
Nonetheless, it was a fighting game but Villa Vipers proved to be the better team for the day. Hafiz, Shazni, Shariff, Salman, Khai Mon and Khidir proved to be at their best form. Although the defence line was vulnerable at times, the strike force was dependable as always. The goal of the year will be rewarded to Khai Akit for his stunning, extraordinary, marvelous, anything u can call it. His shot was from outside the penalty box and it was not an ordinary shot. He crossed his legs for the shot just like the skill that was done by Cristiano Ronaldo, Joe Cole and other world class players.
In the end, the score was 8-5 and most of the score from the opponents were a give away as Hasan was not in his best form for the day.

!!News Flash!!
After positive discussions with the captain, Kamal still remains a Villa Viper. It was a talk that was held at Punggol CC and it seems that a misunderstanding was in place. The only player that is out is Nas and not Kamal. Kamal has never wanted to leave Villa Vipers FC because he did not have the heart to do it. Please do not have any hard feelings for him after the recent incident.

The match was scheduled to start at 9 but players arrived late and other teams had already used the field. So our match started between their half-time. There were no substitutes available and the weather was starting to heat up.
On previous occasions, we had beaten APFC by 3-1,2-0 and etc. The last time we played with them we lost because Hasan was injured. This time, things aren't yet going the way we want them too.
Following the defeat on Thursday, we were worried as we were short on players and the whole squad was nervous. At the start, APFC enjoyed possesion and most of the time, we had to chase for the ball. The Right Winger was given several chances through Hasan's goal kicks but 60% of them were not put to good use. Sturdy runs were impressive but crosses were ineffective. Farhan delivered crosses but sometimes too far and too high. The centre mid created several opportunities for the strikers but they were not able to convert them.
The Goalkeeper and defence line faced several tough challenges and kept out most of them but APFC's attacks were too overpowering and well strategised. They were sweeping long balls all across the field. 3 goals were conceded and half-time came.
Ashly switched with Firdaus to try and beat the ex-Villa Viper, Nasrudin. His mind was focused on turning the tide but the team including him were running out of fuel. Several chances came to him but he just could not convert them due to the panicky atmosphere. But when a short range effort from Farhan caused the keeper to parry the ball instead of holding it, Ashly came in and rammed the ball into the goal.
Overall, the defence did their best especially Faris who headed the ball in time of need and blocked shots. Faris is leaving for Istanbul and we hope he have a safe and enjoyable trip there. Not to mention Hafiz, Salman and Khai Mon who put up a tight barrier.
Firdaus, Khai Akit, Zakiy, Farhan and Afiq also gave their all. They created chances and tried shots to contribute to the scoreline. Although we lost this match, it has helped improve our mindset on becoming a better team and develop a stronger bond between each other.
And to those who did not attend the match because of work or did not wake up, please try to attend next time. Your commitment and contribution is much needed.
